This course is aimed at pilots who wish to refresh or sharpen their instrument flying skills. Whilst covering all of the basics for refresher purposes, the course focuses on precision flying, abnormal and emergency situations. The course is aimed at pilots from every level who hold (or once held) an instrument rating, however, although a PPL and IFR are recommended as minimum requirements there is nothing stopping anyone who would like to attempt the course and does not have these qualifications. Candidates who:

• complete the course will have their logbook endorsed by the instructor
• score an aggregate of 70% or more will receive the Bronze Leoair AIRC wings
• score an aggregate of 80% or more will receive the Silver Leoair AIRC wings
• score an aggregate of 90% or more will receive the Gold Leoair AIRC wings
• score an aggregate of 95% or more will receive the Platinum Leoair AIRC wings

This course consists of 30 hours of briefings, approximately 50 hours of solo procedural training on a Procedural Training device, 141 hours of dual flight simulation and 35 hours of flying.
